Second posting

Wah wah wah...... it took me months to post the second items here. I dunno, maybe I was lazy to fill my blog or simply not comfortable yet with this new things. We call it "gatek" or "gagap teknologi" in Bahasa Indonesia. I guess in English you would say "technology-challenged" :).

Well, currently I am in Bangkok for a six-month stint at the Asia News Network (ANN) (http://asianewsnet.net). Actually, I have been in Bangkok for about two months. I arrived here on March 15. I will be leaving on Sept. 14. My duty mainly maintaining the website by selecting stories from ANN members.

Asia News Network is hosted by The Nation at its headquarters on Bangna-Trad road in the southern part of Bangkok.

I find Bangkok much more convenient than Jakarta as it has two lines of BTS Sky Train and a line of subway which almost forms a ring or circle. Bangkok also has a more extensive highway network than Jakarta.

Other modes of transportations are taxi, bus, songthew, tuk-tuk and...... ojek. He he he

Okay, I need to take a rest now as I am going to Pattaya on the weekend with Asohan and Yasmin. See you soon.
