Next destination: Muangthai

I stayed for 180 days in Muangthai last year arriving on March 15 and leaving on Sept. 14. During that six-month period I was working as an assistant editor for the Asia News Network. ANN is hosted by The Nation in its office in Bangna-Trat road, in Bangkok or Krungthep as locals call it.

During my stint there, I visited Greater Bangkok area, Ayutthaya, Pattaya, Khoraat and Kanchanaburi using BTS, subway, public bus, cars and train.

Being a Procrastinator Maximus, what else, I did not post interesting facts and places I saw in Muangthai. Well, as one of my new year resolution, I will post my experience in Muangthai although in a flashback fashion. So, don't get confused :P

Wat Arun, or the Temple of Dawn, one of Krungthep's landmarks and favorite tourist spots.
