A monument made of a steam locomotive -- with TC 1008 registration number -- outside the south gate of Bandung train station.

I took the picture several months ago around the time when my son was hospitalized in Bandung in early July.

I had to shuttle between Jakarta and Bandung at that time before taking a leave.

Taking train is a convenient way of travelling despite the presence of Cipularang toll road enabling a two-hour drive by car. Especially when you don't have a car :).
